This year’s Lab for Open Innovation in Science (LOIS) for the ECN PhD students took place in Berlin.
In this first module, the students worked on the basics of Open Innovation in Science (OIS).
It was about questions such as:
- What is the role and value of openness and collaboration in science?
- How can we use open and collaborative approaches along different stages of the scientific research process?
- What are relevant boundary conditions for applying open and collaborative approaches to scientific research?
- How can open and collaborative approaches be applied in different fields within the neurosciences?
Work was done in small groups and it was a very interactive workshop!
Benedikt Salmen and Marion Poetz welcomed all ECN participants
