Susanne Schreiber, member of the Einstein Center for Neurosciences Berlin was elected as FENS-Kavli Scholar into the FENS-Kavli Network of Excellence.
With this year’s nomination 35 young independent European neuroscience researchers are chosen into this network. The network aims to improve Neuroscience in Europe and beyond through scientific exchange, providing opportunities for young scientists, and facilitating dialogue between scientists, policy-makers, and society. The scholars participate in several network meetings for discussions and the realization of their objectives.
FENS-Kavli Network of Excellence
The FENS-Kavli Network of Excellence embeds thirty European Neuroscientists representing their peers in all fields of neuroscience research.
In collaboration with the Kavli Foundation, the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS) established in 2014 a high visibility multidisciplinary network of early to midcareer European neuroscientists. FKNE aim to improve Neuroscience in Europe and beyond through providing opportunities for young scientists, influencing science policy, and facilitating the exchange between science and society.
