The Berlin Neuroscience Meeting (BNM) was established in October 2017 to connect neuroscientists and PhD students of the inter- and transdisciplinary Einstein Center for Neurosciences Berlin (ECN) to give them the possibility to present the most recent research. Over the years, the BNM has established itself as an annual meeting for the neuroscience community and is growing from year to year.

ECN Opening Symposium
The official opening of the Einstein Center for Neurosciences Berlin took place on December 8-10, 2016 with a festive grand opening symposium.
A Short History of Neuroscientific Conferences in Berlin
The Einstein Center for Neurosciences Berlin and the Cluster of Excellence NeuroCure are not first initiatives to connect Berlin´s neuroscientists. Quite the opposite, they are standing on the shoulders of giants.
Berlin Neuroscience Forum
From 1997 to 2014, Professor Helmut Kettenmann chaired a series of biennial conferences which took place in the Brandenburg countryside. Most of Berlin´s Collaborative Research Centers and Research Training Groups at that time were participating in these conferences.
