Networking is a key part of career development, both within and beyond academia. Building connections with peers, mentors, and professionals not only opens doors to job opportunities but also provides valuable support, advice, and collaborations that can shape your career path.

 

ECN provides local in-person networking opportunities, such as the Student/Postdoc-run Seminar Series and the Berlin Neuroscience Meetings, but also satellite networking events at international conferences, such as the FENS Forum, the Neuroscience Meetings of the Society for Neuroscience, and the Göttingen Meeting of the German Neuroscience Society. Additionally, we have created the Berlin Neuroscience Network, an online portal designed to increase interactions between current and former Berlin neuroscientists, which you can use to contact career ambassadors, and other alumni. An event calendar also gives an overview of workshops, trainings, lectures, science communication events, and further networking opportunities in Berlin and beyond.
